Because of this purchase and the other heavy 35MM cameras I own, I though this shoulder harness might be nice. After comparing similar products I bought this through Amazon's partner Adorama due to its low price, the inclusion of the "metal split rings" and a "micro-fiber lens cleaning cloth" as stated in Amazon's Product Description section. The problem is that neither the rings or cloth came packed with the product. I could return it and spend 50% of what it cost me just do so but that's insane. Since Amazon provided the description, I think they should credit me back something and re-write the description too. The product does seem well made for the money and when I just tried it with my camera and binoculars it seem to perform well. I recently had the opportunity to use this product, while elk hunting. I have a full-size set of binos I use for hunting. With the bino harness, I never knew my binos were there. It's way too big for me. I'd have to take it apart & re-sew to fit. Also it was confusing due to strap configuration. I am a smart person, yet had to spend too much time figuring it out, then realizing that to make it fit me, the binoc hookups were on my shoulders (instead of at chest) due to adjustment hardware being in the way. I checked out my friend's harness, which has 4 attachments in back instead of 3, & his is so much better (& it's a no-name brand). I am 5'4", & 110 lbs. Do not recommend. |
